Waterbury is filled with recreational activities for everyone to enjoy throughout the year. Summit two of the highest and most popular peaks in Vermont—Mount Mansfield and Camel’s hump. The Waterbury Recreation Center also has many facilities for town use including a pool, tennis courts, and seasonal outdoor ice rink. While the summer is packed with outdoor activities, there are many nearby skiing areas just a short drive from Waterbury as well.

When in Waterbury, paying a visit to the Ben and Jerry’s factory is a must do. Take a tour of the facilities and learn how the famous ice cream is made and sold around the world. The Pheonix is a gallery in downtown Waterbury that hosts art shows, live music, and yoga classes.
