We've been trying to think how anything could be more convenient than this Montpelier condo. It's literally a half mile from downtown, so however you want to get to town, it's E-A-S-Y. This updated two bedroom, one bathroom first floor condo is convenient to live in too. Updates include: renovated kitchen, renovated bathroom, new appliances, new flooring, new windows, interior painting, and minor electrical. There's seriously nothing that you have to do before moving in and enjoying your new condo. Monthly association dues of $175 cover exterior maintenance, landscaping, plowing, and the master insurance policy. Plus, the association has already budgeted for new siding (2021) and landscaping (after the siding). No special assessment for those wonderful improvements! The upstairs unit recently finished a comprehensive weatherization, including removing the old fiberglass, air sealing and blowing in cellulose insulation, which will make the TOTAL heating and electric bill go down from its current $1800 or so each year. In other words, it's really efficient, and won't cost an arm and a leg to own. There is no garage, but we think you'll get over that really quickly.
