Alex Aldrich

REALTOR

Alex transitioned to real estate after a distinguished 40-year career in arts administration, including two decades as the Vermont State Arts Council director. This experience honed his communication, negotiation, and organizational skills, which he now applies to guiding clients through real estate transactions. His appreciation for Vermont’s culture, natural beauty, and quality of life informs his work, helping clients find a community to call home.

A graduate of Harvard College and Yale School of Management, Alex combines his academic foundation with a hands-on, personalized approach to real estate. A long-time resident of Montpelier, VT, Alex has lived there with his family for over 25 years. His entry into real estate was inspired by his wife, Sue Aldrich, a successful Realtor and former owner of Coldwell Banker Classic Properties. In 2024, their firm merged with Coldwell Banker Hickok & Boardman, expanding services to meet client needs better.

Outside of work, Alex enjoys woodworking and creating stained glass projects. He once had the excitement of competing on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire in 2000. With his experience and dedication, Alex is focused on helping clients find their perfect fit in Vermont’s dynamic and beautiful real estate market.
