Sue Aldrich brings over 20 years of expertise in real estate, helping buyers and sellers in Central Vermont navigate their transactions with professionalism, dedication, and a deep understanding of the local market. Raised in New York City and Mallorca, Spain, Sue developed a global perspective early in life. After earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in Classical Civilization, Latin, and Ancient Greek from the College of William and Mary in Virginia, she built a successful career in advertising, including serving as Advertising Production Manager at Smithsonian Magazine in Washington, D.C.

In the early 90s, Sue relocated to Atlanta, where she transitioned into advertising sales for a trade magazine publisher, further honing her client relations and negotiation skills. After moving to Vermont in 1997, she brought her sales and marketing acumen to local radio stations before embarking on her real estate career in 2006. She became the Owner and Broker of Coldwell Banker Classic Properties in Montpelier, building it into a trusted agency known throughout Central Vermont. In 2024, Sue merged her company with Coldwell Banker Hickok & Boardman to elevate client services and marketing exposure, enabling her to focus on individualized attention and the success of her buyers and sellers.

Sue, a long-time Montpelier resident, is deeply involved in her community. She served 15 years on the Montpelier School Board, including six years as Chair, and is currently on the Board of Upper Valley Services, advocating for housing for adults with disabilities. With triplet sons, a daughter, and nearly two decades of real estate transactions, Sue combines a wealth of experience with a personal commitment to every client.

Fluent in Spanish and holding several professional designations—including Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR), Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES), and Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS)—Sue is uniquely positioned to meet the diverse needs of her clients. Her professional training in real estate contracts and conflict resolution ensures that every transaction is handled with care and precision.
