Lake Iroquois is a 237-acre lake surrounded by the towns of Williston, Hinesburg, Richmond and St. George. Originally known as the Hinesburg Pond, Lake Iroquois was expanded into a man-made lake in 1867 to supply water to mills in Hinesburg. Today the lake is managed and cared for by the Lake Iroquois Recreation District, with board representatives from each of the surrounding towns. Today, it has become a popular escape for those seeking privacy, trails, wildlife, swimming, fishing, and boating. Find your home on Lake Iroquois.
